Railway JE 2019 Eligibility Criteria
|Junior Engineer||Diploma/Degree in Engineering or Relevant Stream prescribed against various post
in Annexture A of the detailed CEN to be published on various websites of RRB
|Depot Material Superintendent||Diploma/Degree in Engineering from any discipline|
|Junior Engineer (Information Technology)||PGDCA/B.Sc. (Computer Science)/ BCA/ B-tech (IT)/ B-tech (Computer Science)/ DOEACC
B level course of 3 years duration or equivalent form recognized university/institute
|Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant||Bachelor’s degree in Science with Physics and Chemistry with minimum 55% marks|
|Note: Those who are in the final year of their degree/diploma cannot apply for any post under RRB JE.|

Medical Standards for the Posts
Candidates called for DV will have to pass requisite medical fitness test(s) conducted by the Railway Administration to ensure that the candidates are medically fit to carry out the duties connected with the post(s) opted by them. Visual Acuity Standard is one of the important criteria of medical fitness of Railway staff. The medical requirements against different Medical Standards for different categories are outlined below:

|Candidates who have undergone Lasik surgery or any other surgery procedure to correct refractory error are not eligible for the post having Medical Standards A3, B1 and B2.|
