Railway JE 2019 Eligibility Criteria

  • Age Limit: As of 1st January 2019, the minimum age of the candidates must be 18 years and the maximum age limit is 33 years.
  • Educational Qualification: The educational qualification for the candidates is different for multiple posts offered through Railway JE 2019 Exam.

PGDCA/B.Sc. (Computer Science)/ BCA/ B-tech (IT)/ B-tech (Computer Science)/ DOEACC B level course of 3 years duration or equivalent from recognized university/institute

Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant

Bachelor’s degree in Science with Physics and Chemistry with minimum 55% marks

Note: Those who are in the final year of their degree/diploma cannot apply for any post under RRB JE.

Medical Standards for the Posts:

Candidates called for DV will have to pass requisite medical fitness test(s) conducted by the Railway Administration to ensure that the candidates are medically fit to carry out the duties connected with the post(s) opted by them. Visual Acuity Standard is one of the important criteria of medical fitness of Railway staff. The medical requirements against different Medical Standards for different categories are outlined below:
